I am a Professor in the Department of Process Engineering and Applied Science, Faculty of Engineering at Dalhousie University, in beautiful Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
A bit about me....
I received my PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge, United Kingdom, and BTech(Hons) in Biotechnology and Bioprocess Engineering from Massey University, New Zealand.
Prior to joining Dalhousie, I worked in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering at the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
My current interests are in bioprocess/food engineering, encapsulation technologies and waste utilization/treatment. I was awarded the Canadian Society of Bioengineering (CSBE) John Clark Award in 2016 for food engineering.
For fun, I like baking, gardening, knitting, and crocheting.
